I received an email about Nature's Variety recall. You can find the article here - http://www.dogfoodproject.com/

"Nature's Variety Voluntarily Expands Recall to Include All Chicken Formula and Organic Chicken Formula Raw Frozen Diets with "Best If Used By" Dates On or Before 2/5/11 "

Received that notice in email just today.
I haven't fed the babies NV in a few months now,
but I know several on here still do.

If anyone has recalled food you may bring it back to the store you got it from (or any store that sells the variety you have) . . . you should be able to exchange it for something else of equal or lesser value even without a receipt.

Pet stores gather recalled foods and return them for a full refund to the manufacturer (even used bags brought in by customers) so really, they should not have a problem taking the item back.

If you do have trouble, contact the manufacturer. Many will send out coupons in the amount of what you purchased to offset the inconvenience of having to throw away your purchase.

I got the email too, and we had just started on a bag that's in the recall. Returned it for a full refund with no problems.

I feed it as well, but didn't have any of the chicken..but I did receive an email with a coupon that said IF I had, I could just return it for a refund, or a different type. My babies have done AMAZING on this food..
